Harry was raised by his mother, who was uncaring emotionally, and physically abusive occasionally.
He started fighting around age 18 after dropping out of medical high school, where he was in goal to be psychologist for sake of helping people like his mother, but was ultimately not interested in the field when he couldn't help her.
He was 20 when he met John and Frank, and became workout buddies, sometimes he'd receive mixed messages/flirts from both of them but ultimately fell in love with John.
He agreed with the way John does relationships, but forced himself to take more of John's attention so he wouldn't be as bored/drawn to seek out more people. Not the healthiest, but he didn't mind too much.
He had an apartment in west side of Capital City, near where Leo worked in Mechanical Pets Seller, but they rarely interacted other than going out with John (not to the drug parties).
After the accident with John's magic, he woke up in his room two years later without living through those two years. Very unusual for time travel magic.
He attempted to get back with John, even after he started dating Seamus while he was gone, and ultimately did not like it and got closer with Leo instead. The two started dating and stayed together for most of the story.
When Harry's citizenship returned, he was officially a fighter again. Which was quite inconvenient, seeing as all fighters got recruited to the Civil War. Him and John were too low of level to be soldiers, however, and both ended up in prisons, buildings built specifically for the soldiers that could not participate.
After the war, he was one of the many people that stopped fighting. He did not want to re-educate, so he found low-wage manual jobs or worked in shops.
After Leo's passing, at which point Seamus was also gone for long time, him and John did not exactly get back together, but spent more time together. In the end, he decided he wants to leave, either go around the world to explore and find himself, or to do something important. He wasn't sure yet. John gave him an enchanted dagger, for safety.
