Backstory

He was raised by his father Jonathan, after his mother died, to learn Jonathan's passion and ambitions to be what Jonathan always wished to be: A top tier professional Sunfall player, most likely Elementalist.

As soon as he became adult at age 18 he enrolled in University and ran from his father, to study electrical engineering, where he became friends with Leonardo.

When he moved to London to try to find work after school, and maybe find new friends, along with his friend Leo, he met up with Harold in a bar, and they started dating.

Harry's dream to become a Sunfall player was a bit sour on John at first, but nevertheless he decided to help him, and train with him. It was quite difficult to find teams who would accept him as sub, especially as Elementalist, so he volunteered to either Flamewarden or Sentinel along with him. He'd be capable of playing as Guardian and Lightweaver, but they are rarely subbed in, as they are extremely teamwork and synergy with well known teammates dependant.

They usually only did training, but one time they had to sub on a tournament, and would've won if it wasn't for the team that snatched the sun from them in last moment, while they had the most team kills, and were about to complete the objective, the other team took the victory and they placed second.

At the ceremony stage, he recognized - or thought he did - one of the tanks from the winning team. She looked so ridiculously similar to him, and at first, he thought it might be his father. She recognized him though.

Harriet approached him after, and told him the biggest secret kept from him: he has an older sister. Jonathan abandoned her, and kept only him, and she trained herself to compete in the sport Jonathan praised so much, and got better than John. Much better.

Nevertheless, the defeat made him feel same sting as if he was actually invested, and realized he might still care, and would join a team once he was sure he was doing it for himself, not to please Jonathan.

Harriet left her team, and insisted she wants to make a new one with John and Harold, an official team, so they wouldn't have to sub. They were out of the current season, and Harriet found Zora through her connections, let Harry be the Elementalist, she took role of Flamewarden, John got stuck with Sentinel (he wasn't necessarily against it, but he enjoyed more damage oriented tank) and they were only missing Guardian.

John met Sonja and Elizabeth around the same time, with no intentions of dating, but made connection with both nevertheless. Liz was part of a team which had at least 2 subs for each class, and even though she was the captain, she agreed to join John's, while Sonja who was still studying for another degree, could only sub sometimes.

When Sonja finished studying, and saw it was for naught cause the team was good enough to qualify for proper tournaments, and often won them, and could make a living, she joined team for good, and Liz decided to pursue her other talent.

The official team's name would be Cerulean Lightbringer, with dark blue as their team's primary identifier colour.
